My Own Business, Inc (MOBI) is a nonprofit organization committed to helping entrepreneurs prosper. MOBI offers a free online basic course which includes 14 sessions covering all the essential topics necessary to inform entrepreneurs how to avoid the most common pitfalls usually encountered in running a business.

Small Business School is a weekly, half-hour PBS television show about proven best business practices presented by selected successful business owners. Episode streaming video clips collectively address each step of the business life cycle: dreaming, starting, selling, growing, employing, scaling, sustaining and exiting.

Sony and SCORE teamed to create a Small Business Basics handbook on how to transition from a fledgling idea to a fully functioning, successful small business. It features practical information and exercises that will enable you to build a business plan, select an incorporation option, develop a marketing campaign, and more.

HP provides technology solutions globally. HP, SBA, and SCORE sponsor the popular Business Matchmaking program which matches small businesses with corporate and government buyers. The HP Small Business Connection website features a business skills learning center and a business toolbox, including a Marketing Success eBook.

Microsoft has a Small Business Center website which includes business articles & insights in five categories: Finance, Management, Marketing, Startups, and Technology. Microsoft also offers a free way to create a web presence which includes intuitive website design tools and web-based business applications.
